Happy Friday, friends! For me, this weekend brings a visit from two of my favorite ladies in the world... I am looking forward to seeing my sister-in-law and niece on Sunday!

I hope you all had a wonderful weekend! Mine consisted of the following: 

a wonderfully sunny Friday off spent with my Mom {who came down to take my sis to the airport}... 

work on Saturday, followed by a late night outing to the Funny Bone to see comedian - Steve Rannazzisi - 

from "The League" {he was SO funny}... the Mr. and I heading out Sunday morning for a drive, 

which included a trip to our favorite coffee shop - Luck Bros.+ one of our other fav spots for lunch - North Star Cafe ... and the fabulous surprise of TWO face-time calls from my sister {all the way from Ireland}!

{the lion is my favorite... on the lion coin "FIDUCIA, VIRTUS, AMPLITUDO" - which means "Confience, Courage, Nobility of Soul"}

5.  vintage 1970s Robert Altman lamp... sigh / 6. Modern Vintage "Carina" bootie... why do you have to be so expensive?

CURRENTLY COVETING... MINT

You know when a new trend comes around and you think, "Oh no. I am not jumping on that bandwagon"... and then slowly but surely you're on the wagon?  You all know what I mean, right? Well, mint green crept up on me this season. just. like. that.  Thus far the only mint green item I own is the below Essie nail polish; however, I plan on remedying that soon.  Just one piece of mint green clothing will do... maybe a budget friendly version of the blouse below. Just a little something to freshen up my spring wardrobe.  Spring fever is in full force at the Martin household.

...and all of this talk of mint just makes me crave my favorite ice cream. UDF has the best mint chocolate chip ice cream I have found in Columbus.

CURRENTLY COVETING {No. 6}

Those of you who know me well, may be surprised to see a pink blazer in this collection. I do not own a single item of truly pink clothing. I think I have a subconscious aversion to the color because when I was little everything was pale pink; even the walls of my bedroom. So, I'm not sure what my deal is lately because hot-pink items keep catching my eye. This blazer is available in eight colors {I talked about it here a few weeks ago} and the hot pink and the rusty-orange are my favorites. Question: Am I going against my very being... my "not a pink girl" self-proclaimed status... if a few hot-pink items make their way into my closet?

CURRENTLY COVETING {NO. 5}

I hope you all had a wonderful weekend. The Mr. and I went to DK Diner for donuts and coffee Sunday morning, and then headed to Scott's Antique Market {we left with a few great finds I promise to share later}. Afterward, we spent some quality time on the couch watching football and eating pizza. It was a lovely Sunday. 

I believe my favorite item from this wishlist is the leather butterfly chair from Urban Outfitters... oh how I would love for it to just appear in our little apartment. It's a little steep for our wallets, but maybe it will go on sale?

Today marks 6 months of the Mr. and I being married! Happy half-year anniversary to my wonderful husband. I love you.

How was your weekend? The weather here has been abnormally warm and we Ohioans have been enjoying the sunshine. After working Saturday, I had dinner + a few adult beverages with the Mr. and N, and then enjoyed a wonderful lazy Sunday. I even took a nap on the couch {which I rarely ever do} with Bailey {our cat} curled up beside me. Below are just a few things I dreamed of while napping.

I had a dream that I was finished with my Christmas shopping. That's not true, but I wouldn't be surprised if I did. I think I'm a little too obsessed with finding the "perfect" gift for each person. This Monday I decided to morph Weekly Wishlist into a gift guide of sorts.  With the holiday just around the corner, I just didn't feel right posting items from my wishlist {last Monday here}! Today I'm sharing my thoughts for the man in your life,  and I'm excited to share ideas for the mrs. tomorrow!

The husband and I played a little catch up with our Christmas shopping this weekend. We also watched "My Idiot Brother" {which I recommend}, had dinner at one of our favorite places {Club 185} with our friends C and E {C photographed our wedding},  AND had brunch with our friends C and A {where I hardly made a dent in three of the largest pancakes I've ever seen}. It was so nice to catch up with dear friends. I've been such a hermit lately, so I needed it!

CURRENTLY COVETING {NO. 1}

My mom has always said that I "want" a lot. When I was younger she would say to me, "I want, I want, I want," teasing me about how much I said the phrase. And... she's right. I want a lot. I don't want FOR a lot... I mean, I'm a very lucky lady. I just WANT a lot. So, in the spirit of being honest and acknowledging that I have big eyes (but a small wallet) I thought I would start a weekly wishlist of sorts.
