MY NEW DESK

I've been dreaming of having a space like the one below... 

In fact, this space just makes me sigh out loud with want of such a space.

... and I'm sighing out loud at this one, too.

A space like these is years away.  No room for that much creative space in this little apartment, but the Mr. does have a desk in the guest room / music room / his office.  And the other day, after finding a bill under a pile of papers {past due} for the third time in a few months... I decided I needed my space, too.  A spot to sit down and write my blog {away from the couch and the tv}, and be organized... with cool office things.

Once I decide I want to do something, I want to do it now.  As in, right now.  So, I found a desk on craigslist and it is now sitting in our bedroom.  I need to move a few things around to make room for her... and she needs a little paint... but here she is.  My new desk. 

Wanted for my new little space: this desk lamp, another faux sheepskin rug for my chair, and an old tin can for my pens.
